Shokugeki no Soma Chapter 291 Spoilers, Summary, Release Date

Shokugeki no Soma chapter 290 is out and I will admit, it was pretty nice to see what the noir managed to cook up, but she went about it by using a chainsaw was both weird and kind of stupid as well. But despite that, the noir’s dish did look alright and I hope we’re going to see Soma really mix it up this time and make something quite out there.  Now, Let’s break down and speculate the events of Shokugeki no Soma chapter 291. But prior to that, there is a notice for you. The article ahead holds massive spoilers so read at your own will. Follow to our Twitter & Facebook for latest updates. Let’s Begin!

Shokugeki no Soma Chapter 291 Spoilers

Erina and Asahi are far from the gate and I don’t think the third gate will be only that plus there will be more chefs in the third gate not only three. I wonder how Soma and Co. tackle this but I expect Tsukasa to be the leading light in this Challenge again, would be nice to see Megumi and Takumi take some initiative though of course. Now, I’m excited to see what Soma can do in the Shokugeki no Soma Chapter 291.

Food Wars chapter 291

We got this Bookmaster that appears to have Azami type vibes but honestly, it won’t surprise me if the Bookmaster is someone we already know.

Shokugeki no Soma Chapter 290 Summary

Tsukuda did not even bother to show what Takumi and Megumi made in the 1st and 2nd gate. I thought we might get their development, but everything about their participation in BLUE had been skipped so far. I’m starting to think Megumi and Takumi will actually make it to heavens keep by off screening every challenge.

Shokugeki chapter 291

I miss when Shokugeki no Soma were willing to show side characters overcome challenges too. Not only does skipping their matches deprive us of a much-needed break from the Soma-fest this manga has become and the Erina/Asahi plot-line but I also feel like this also invalidates Soma’s performance and struggles by allowing these characters to completely off-screen these challenges and act like it was no big deal to pass. Even if they get focus in the future, it doesn’t change that seeing how they passed the first or second gate would have been really interesting and that so far their presence has amounted to nothing but commentary. Tsukada didn’t even feel the need to say they passed; they just show up at the third gate. Although we knew they’d pass, making it seem like this was so much of an inevitability that it isn’t even worth it to comment on it, kind of make showing the second challenge and Soma trying to overcome it look pointless.
