In this article, we are going to talk about the spoilers, raw scans and release date of ‘Boruto’ Chapter 42. Before that, let’s talk about the previous chapter. Chapter 41 was a minor chapter where the plot didn’t advance much. It was neat seeing Team 7 working together. Obviously, Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki are already used to working as a team, but it was satisfying that they worked pretty well with the addition of Kawaki.
The monthly wait hurts it a little but the story is compelling where we are and we can’t wait to see where they go from here in ‘Boruto’ Chapter 42. Honestly, this chapter could have been a satisfying end to the fight, but it looks like it’ll continue into next month and may not even be resolved then.

In this leaked panel of Boruto Ch. 42, Sarada used Chidori against Boro, her using Chidori is a plot twist. Chidori is a technique originally created by Kakashi Hatake. It is basically a highly concentrated lighting chakra used as a weapon. This technique later passed down to Sasuke and this chapter revealed that Sarada also can use it.
In the earlier chapters, it was revealed that Sarada also awakened 3 tomoe Sharingan off-screen, we did not really see it happen. Possibly, fans will get to know more of her extraordinary techniques in Boruto Chapter 42 which is releasing tomorrow.

‘Boruto’ Chapter 42 Spoilers, Raw Scans, Predictions
In the latest chapter, we learned more about Boro, Karma and we got to see Mitsuki and Sarada shine. It would’ve been fine to see Boro go out after that unison Rasengan. In addition, the conversation they had at the beginning was interesting and fun, and Sarada’s reaction to being named the leader was great.
It was also revealed that the Sharingan can grant a detailed photographic memory. The more it focuses on something, the more details it will see and memorize, even the microscopic. Sasuke has done this before in order to see Deidara’s C4 nano bombs and Jigen’s small self.
Mitsuki’s Sage Mode-
Mitsuki didn’t do much fighting although his efforts in this chapter were essential. Without that antidote, Team 7 wouldn’t be able to survive till now against Boro. Hopefully, we see him engage in combat in the next chapter. There are some speculations going on around, which says Mitsuki might go sage mode in ‘Boruto’ Chapter 42. Fans are excited to see him go sage mode, and the coming chapter might fulfill the wishes of fans.
At the end of Chapter 41, we saw Boro heading toward Naruto, and Kawaki was right behind him trying to stop him. He’s most likely rushing towards Naruto to force an opening in their formation. Kawaki broke the formation in order to save Naruto and this may change the tide of battle in favor of Boro. He hasn’t shown us why Kawaki compared his strength to Jigen. Perhaps Boro will reveal his trump card against Team 7 in ‘Boruto’ Manga 42 and reveal his full power.
When is the release date of ‘Boruto’ Manga 42?
Chapter 42 of Boruto will officially release on 20th January 2020. We haven’t received the Raw Scans of the chapter yet, but when we do, we’ll update this post.
