Merlin was caught off guard when Cath appeared, this creature doesn’t seem to be part of Merlin’s plan. When Cath first showed up Merlin had to ask what it was and has shown no sign of knowing. Cath’s real agenda is unknown here, hopefully, in ‘Nanatsu no Taizai’ Chapter 339 we get to know more about it and what it wants.
This upcoming arc is going to lead to Arthur becoming the legendary king from folklore. We all thought that the series would end after the Demon King. However, it was a great surprise to fans.
