All his life, Naruto is ridiculed for being nine-tailed because of which he has only one goal in his mind, to become the Hokage of Konoha. This is the story of this knuckle-headed ninja and his determination to accomplish his dream.
- Bleach – Ichigo Kurosaki, is not your run-of-the-mill high school student. He has the ability to see ghosts and spirits.
One fateful day, he encounters Kuchiki Rukia who has arrived to defeat a Hollow that has been plaguing Ichigo’s town. She manages to save Ichigo and his family at the cost of her life. Unable to fight any longer, she transfers her shinigami powers to Ichigo making him a substitute shinigami. Together they go on to defeat any foe that stands in their way.
- Fairy Tail – In the Kingdom of Fiore is a town named Magnolia in which resides a Mage guild named “Fairy Tail”. The leader/master of the guild is Makarov.
Lucy Heartfilia, a 17-year-old girl wants to join a mage guild and one day she coincidently runs into Natsu Dragneel who is a cheerful boy with a “little bit” transportation sickness. However, Lucy doesn’t know one major thing about Natsu, i.e., he is the closest connection to a mage guild as he is one of the main members of Fairy Tail.
- Gintama – Aliens from outer space, called Amanto, have invaded Earth and took over Japan. In doing so, they have established a prohibition on swords and the samurai of Japan are treated in disregard consequently.
Sakata Gintoki is the one man among all the samurai who refuses to give up his sword. But because Amanto roams the Earth, Gintoki is forced to set up his own business. He calls it Yorozuya (jack of all trades). His accompaniments in this line of work are Shimura Shinpachi, a boy with glasses, Kagura, a very strong young girl who is from one of the strongest clans in the universe, Yato clan, and Sadaharu, their oversized pet dog. Together they stumble through unfortunate but comical incidents with the police, rebels, and assassins.
- Hunter X Hunter – A hunter is a person who travels to far-away lands in the search of treasure and adventure. Gon’s father is also a hunter but had been missing for a long time. This young boy thinks that if he follows his father’s path and becomes a hunter he’ll be able to reunite with him.
After crossing the age of 12, Gon leaves his home and takes on the task of entering the Hunter exam. This exam is widely known for its low success rate and high probability of death. During his journey, he befriends the Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua. Leorio wants to be a doctor, Killua is an ex-assassin and Kurapika is revenge-driven. Together they prevail throughout the many trials and threats they come upon taking on the dangerous career of a Hunter.
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann – Simon and Kamina was born and raised in a deep, underground village. Kimon is an extrovert who is bent on making a name for himself while Simon is much introverted. One day while excavating the earth, Simon stumbles upon a mysterious object that turns out to be the ignition key to an ancient artifact of war, which the duo dubs Lagann. Yoko Littner, a hot-blooded redhead girl helps them fend off a surprise attack from the surface using the weapon.
Simon and Kamina start to explore the outside world with Yoko as the aftermath of the battle. Soon, they join the fight against the “Beastmen,” humanoid creatures that terrorize the remnants of humanity in powerful robots called “Gunmen.” On this journey, the trio bravely fights these new enemies and unknowingly begin to solve a huge mystery.
- Toriko – Toriko is a hunter of precious food and recipes who is regularly hired by famous restaurants and the rich. He is a man with inhuman skills to capture ferocious, evasive and rare animals to complete his ultimate dinner course. Chef Komatsu, a timid and weak person accompanies Toriko in his adventures on his quest for the course of his life, inspired by his greatness.
- Nanatsu No Taizai – A small subset of the Knights supposedly betrayed their homeland and turned their blades against their comrades in an attempt to overthrow the ruler of Liones. They were defeated by the Holy Knights, who use immensely powerful magic for the protection of Britannia. Rumors continued existing that these legendary knights, called the “Seven Deadly Sins,” were still alive.
Nanatsu no Taizai follows the adventures of Elizabeth, the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones, and her search for the Seven Deadly Sins.
- Yu Yu Hakusho – Yuusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old delinquent, throws himself in front of a moving car to save a young boy and dies in doing so. The authorities of the spirit realm are so shocked by this action of Yuusuke that they refuse to let him pass on to the afterlife. The heir to the throne of the spirit realm, Koenma, offers him a chance to take his life back after completing a series of tasks. With the guidance of the death god Botan, he is to thwart evil presences on Earth as a Spirit Detective.
To help him he enlists ex-rival Kazuma Kuwabara, and two demons, Hiei and Kurama. Together, they train and battle against enemies who would threaten humanity’s very existence.
- Overlord – The final hour of the popular virtual reality game Yggdrasil has come. Momonga, a powerful wizard and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to spend his last few moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down. To his surprise, when the clock having strikes midnight, Momonga is still fully conscious as his character and, moreover, the non-player characters appear to have developed personalities of their own!
Confronted with this strange situation, Momonga commands his loyal servants to help him investigate and take control of this new world, with the hopes of figuring out what has caused these chain of events.
