Kimetsu no Yaiba Chapter 189: Iguro’s Tragic End
This chapter shows how much Iguro is wrong with his mind. By blaming himself and even willing to go so far as to cleanse himself. Gotouge is strengthening just how different Iguro is compared to his family. He sees himself as of the same impure stock. But in fact, his guilt for getting them killed regardless of what was done to his points a different direction. And that is the stronger perspective presented to the readers. It makes his backstory and newly found character more sympathetic and tragic to fans. It was interesting to see why Iguro always covered his mouth and that the Flame Hashira saved him back then. Fans are waiting to see how Kanroji impacted Iguro’s life in Kimetsu no Yaiba Chapter 189.
Chapter 188 also confirmed that Muzan Kibutsuji is stronger than all the moons combined. Himejima can hardly keep up with Muzan’s attacks here, much less defend everyone else. Of course, he’d have to be exhausted after his fight against Kokushibou but that wouldn’t affect him too much right now. Also, Muzan focused on Mitsuri Kanjori in this chapter and watched them take her away so possibly he may go after her in Chapter 189 and Iguro will try his best to stop him.
The manga is setting our hearts to break in the Demon Slayer Chapter 189. Iguro is about to do something great here, now if or not it would be something that benefits corps gain an edge or will Kibutsuji remain impermeable is something that remains to be seen.
