At some point, you’ve probably wished that you could predict the future, perhaps to find out what the winning lottery numbers are or to find out whether you got that job you interviewed for. Unfortunately, being able to predict the future is an ability that none of us will ever possess… or is it?
Some people might actually be able to foresee the future, at least based on these shockingly accurate tweets that predicted future events. Let’s take a look at some of the times that Twitter users were able to predict the future accurately, which include the following.
- Kim & Kanye’s Divorce
- TikTok Hoax

Kim & Kanye’s Divorce
You’ll be seeing a lot of this Twitter user throughout this article, as they have been posting their future predictions for years, and a surprising number of them have come to fruition.
In October of 2018, they predicted that Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West would end their relationship, and would you believe it, that is what they are doing right now.
Kim filed for divorce after a rumor began to circulate that her soon-to-be ex-husband had slept with social media beauty influencer Jeffree Star.
TikTok, like other social media platforms, is a breeding ground for misinformation and hoaxes.
Some of the more popular hoaxes include users ‘burning snowballs’ to prove that all snow is fake, fake news about vaccines and the election, and of course, the classic ghost videos.
Still, we have to give this user some credit – they did predict that TikTok would propagate hoaxes.
JoJo Siwa’s True Self
JoJo recently came out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and the response has been overwhelming, to say the least.
While most of her fans were extremely positive about JoJo’s big decision to live her true life, she did receive some backlash from a small group of fans, but it was quickly drowned out by the support.
Yes, it was a ‘slow’ reveal, as she came out through a series of videos and posts.
The Ellen Show Cancelled
For a while, we all thought that The Ellen DeGeneres Show had been canceled, but it was revealed that the show has been renewed for another season in 2022.
However, Ellen faced a lot of backlash in 2020 due to some comments she made both on her show and on social media, resulting in her being ‘canceled’.
In a way, this prediction was correct… crazy!
Taylor Swift’s Folklore
Taylor Swift is, without a doubt, one of the most popular musicians out there, but her popularity has decreased over the last few years.
That hasn’t stopped her from playing on the radio non-stop, though.
Last year, she released an album called Folklore, which did not receive nearly as much attention as her Swifties would have liked, so this prediction was true.
The Shane Dawson Scandal
Boy, was there ever?! In 2020, Shane Dawson suffered arguably the most backlash he ever has in his career as a YouTube content creator.
He was ‘canceled’ after several pieces of scandalous information were released about him.
This came out just after the James Charles and Tati Westbrook drama that had the entire internet going crazy. Another score for this Twitter user.
Kim Kardashian’s Baby Photos
This is quite a general prediction because just about every celebrity out there is guilty of promoting an unhealthy body image.
Nonetheless, we have to give points to this prediction. Celebrities have been promoting unhealthy body images since the birth of photoshop, whether they wanted to or not – and they often didn’t.
Magazine editors and publicists often alter celebrity photos without their knowledge.
‘13 Reasons Why’ No More
‘13 Reasons Why’ told the harrowing story of Hannah Baker, a high school student who took her own life.
The show was incredibly popular – so much so that it went on for 4 seasons before it was eventually canceled.
The show had a huge fanbase of dedicated viewers, and it was certainly one of the most popular shows on Netflix.
R.I.P. Tuck Tucker
There’s no doubt that SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the most beloved shows in the world.
It gave us iconic characters like SpongeBob himself, Squidward, Patrick, Plankton, Mr. Krabs, Mermaid Man, and Barnacle Boy.
Sadly, Tuck Tucker, an animator for the show, passed away at age 59, which unfortunately makes this prediction true. Tuck, we’re going to miss you!
BENEE’s Big Break
BENEE had one of the most popular songs of last year with ‘Supalonely’, which features Gus Dapperton.
The song’s popularity skyrocketed after it became viral on TikTok, which led to the New Zealand singer gaining plenty of recognition and fans, as well.
She’s since released several more pop-bops, so we have to congratulate @PREDICTIONS on another successful prediction.
King Princess Blows Up
While King Princess, known for her incredible vocals and unique sonic taste, became quite popular in 2018, she gained even more recognition in 2020.
This was thanks to many of her fans sharing her music on TikTok to a younger generation of listeners. She is one of the most popular queer artists of our time, and last year was a good year for her, so this prediction is most definitely true.
James Charles’ Scandal
This was quite possibly the largest social media influencer scandal in recent history.
James Charles received some major backlash after he promoted some vitamin gummies on his Instagram Stories that weren’t from Tati Westbrook’s brand.
Tati was quite offended, and proceeded to call James out, which led to a major scandal, and eventually, the law was involved. Congratulations @PREDICTIONS, you won again.
Miley Cyrus In Black Mirror
Miley Cyrus is very well known for her role as Hannah Montana on the show by the same name.
However, she stopped acting in the Disney show several years ago, though that didn’t stop her from pursuing other acting ventures.
In 2019, she appeared in the third and final episode of Season 5 of Black Mirror, one of the most popular shows on Netflix.
Jenna Marbles Says Goodbye
Jenna Marbles, who had been a popular creator on YouTube for more than ten years, made the decision to leave the platform for good last year after the Black Lives Matter movement took off.
She was not called out but rather came to the decision herself, after deciding that her earlier videos were harmful and offensive.
She did not feel that she deserved to create videos anymore.
Australian Marriage Equality
This Twitter account predicted that same-sex marriage would be legalized in Australia, after having previously been made illegal, and they were correct!
On the 15th of November, 2017, Australia legalized same-sex marriage and took a step toward becoming a more progressive, forward-thinking country, though many other nations had done so several years before.
It took you long enough, mates!
Selena & The Weeknd Split
Selena and The Weeknd were considered a power couple by most of their fans, and many people thought that they were going to be together forever.
Every picture snapped of them together showed them being extremely happy, but it wasn’t meant to be, and the couple eventually broke up.
That means that this prediction was also true, unfortunately.
Big Brother Is Watching Trisha Paytas
Trisha Paytas appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother 20’, and while this prediction was released shortly after, it was still true, so we have to give the user props.
Trisha’s season of the show was the shortest season in Big Brother’s history, lasting only 25 days.
What a rollercoaster of emotions those 25 days were, though.
Donald Trump’s Election
This is one of the most shocking predictions that any Twitter user has ever made.
Several months before Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States, this user posted their prediction that he would become the president.
Many people did not believe them, but they turned out to be correct, nonetheless. This Beyoncé fan gets a point.
Lady Gaga At the Super Bowl
Once again, this Twitter user was able to make a prediction months before the event came true.
But this time it had nothing to do with the United States presidency. In February of 2017, Lady Gaga performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.
However, this user predicted it was coming months before her performance. How do they do it?
The Brexit referendum, in which Britons voted to exit the European Union, was held in June of 2016.
Of those who participated in the vote, 52% favored leaving, while the remaining 48% voted to remain a part of the Union.
A day before the referendum, this Twitter user Tweeted the exact percentage of voters that voted to leave. Spooky, right?
Okay, so the pop legend may not have told this Twitter user directly that she would be announcing her pregnancy.
But a few months after this Tweet was posted, @beyoncefan666 was certainly able to make an accurate prediction.
It’s this account’s uncanny ability to predict the future and the fact that it has not been incorrect that has people around the world shocked and intrigued.
Donald Trump is Suspended
Following a series of inappropriate Tweets and posts that incited violence, former President Donald Trump had his Twitter account suspended permanently.
Many people were glad that he was finally being de-platformed after they felt that he had been spreading chaos throughout the platform for years.
This Twitter user was able to see the suspension coming before it even happened.
Camila Leaves 5th Harmony
5th Harmony was an incredibly popular all-girl pop group that consisted of five members, one of which was Camila Cabello.
After she made the decision to leave the music group, she has gone on to have an extremely successful solo career.
However, this account knew that she would be leaving the group before any announcement was ever made.
And there you have it – some of the craziest Twitter predictions that actually came true! Is it luck? Do these people have a crystal ball? I guess we will never know!
