The Relation Between Admiral Kizaru & Orochi

The Relation Between Kizaru & Orochi

Any reasonable relationship, in the past or future, connecting the Admiral Kizaru & Orochi?

In One Piece Manga chapter 909, it was shown that the title of Shogun is Kurozumi Orochi.
The name is a specific reference to a mythological beast of Japanese myth, the Yamata no Orochi, an enormous eight-headed snake with 8 tails.

Briefly, the myth stated that the creature required 8 maidens at each complete moon so that it would not ruin the earth.
As time progressed, the maidens were fatigued, until just Princess Kushinada prevailed.

The God Susano-o emerged from those lands at that point & fell in love with the princess Kushinada.

In trade for the princess’s hand, he assured the king that he would slay the creature, & so did, by teaching her with 8 pitchers of sake & then with his weapon, he cut off every head of the Monster.
After the Orochi was decapitated, he went to the tails.
On the 4th tail, he realized that there was a great sword inside the Orochi’s body, he pronounced it Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi.
From her belly, the holy gem fell, the Yasakani in the magatama, & the last cut head turned a tear that converted the mirror, Yata no Kagami.

I must insist that this myth has several variants described in the books and in the Japanese folklore, & the one that made here is simply one of them.

You presumably already remarked that the 3 Sacred Treasures of the Japanese crown were already referenced by Author Oda in the techniques of Admiral Kizaru, Yata no Kagami, Ama no Murakumo and Yasakani no Magatama.

Does the very reference to the title of the Shogun & the powers of Admiral Kizaru just appear to be chance or do they have any different link?

We remember fully that Kizaru previously expressed concern in acting in Wano Country.

Now a little bet for which will be the title of the Katana of the Orochi:

According to the story, Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsugiri had the title switched to another that grew more popular, Kusanagi-no-Tsugiri, & this is my conclusion what the name of Shogun aka Orochi’s sword would be, given the mythology already travelled in what we understand of it till now.
